WHO WE ARE
The Haitian American Collaborative (HAC) is a statewide coordinating network and central resource hub connecting Connecticut’s Haitian community with trusted organizations, services, resources, and opportunities.
HAC brings together Haitian-led nonprofits, churches and faith communities, businesses, professionals, service providers, and community institutions under a collaborative statewide network. By strengthening coordination among organizations already serving our community, we make it easier for Haitian individuals and families to find the right support and stay connected to resources throughout Connecticut.
Our purpose is not to replace the organizations doing this work — it is to strengthen and connect them. Through collaboration, referrals, information sharing, partnerships, advocacy, and collective action, HAC helps build a stronger and more connected Haitian community across Connecticut.

WHAT WE DO
Connecting Our Community. Strengthening Our Collective Impact.
HAC serves as a central hub for Connecticut’s Haitian community, connecting individuals and families with trusted resources, services, organizations, and opportunities across the state.
We strengthen coordination among Haitian-led nonprofits, churches, businesses, professionals, and community institutions to improve resource access, referrals, information sharing, community engagement, advocacy, and collective response to emerging needs.
Our role is to connect the community, strengthen the organizations serving it, and ensure Haitians across Connecticut have a trusted place to start when they need support.
